PLEASE NOTE: Due to a recording being made by the boys’ and men’s choir, The Abbey will be closed after Eucharist on Saturday 25th February until 1.30pm. MP and Eucharist will be at the earlier time of 8.45am that day.
WEEKDAY ASSISTANT VERGER NEEDED for Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday. You will need to unlock and lock the Abbey each day, serve at the Eucharist and help set up for the next service. Very simple! No previous experience necessary – excellent training on offer. Please speak to Chris Harpham.

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS SUNDAY – 12th February. During the 10am service we will be focussing on Mental Health Issues and Pressures in the workplace. There will be displays and an opportunity to talk with people after the service.
THE CHILDREN’S SOCIETY Committee would like to thank everyone who bought gifts for the Epiphany service. The various groups have been contacted and will shortly benefit from your generosity, we are extremely grateful for your continued support.
SOUTHAMPTON MISSION AND ANDOVER FOOD BANK – we are collecting on the last Sunday of each month. The items most needed are rice, instant mashed potato, tinned spaghetti, long-life milk and juice and sugar. All donations are very much appreciated.
HOME GROUPS – Running fortnightly on the second and fourth weeks of the month at the home of Jan and Howard Green and Barbie and Jean Evans. Anyone is welcome to join – please contact Jax or Tim in the first instance.
ROMSEY ABBEY SEWING & KNITTING GROUP – next meeting is on Thursday 26th January at 2.30pm in the Abbey Church Rooms.
FAIR-TRADE FASHION SHOW – Tuesday 28th February at 7.00pm in the Abbey. The evening, supported by the 2F’s group, will, as well as fashion, have stalls selling FT goods, FT furniture will be displayed and a FT entrepreneur will tell his story. Tickets on sale (£6) after the 10am service, and from Aroma, Oasis or the TIC.
