Sunday 27th July – After the 10am Eucharist, you are all invited to stay for champagne and wedding cake to celebrate Caroline and Tim’s marriage.

ABBEY SCHOOL GOVERNOR - two vacancies exist for Foundation Governors for Romsey Abbey Primary School. At least one must be a parent of a child of Primary school age. If you are interested in being a school governor please contact Adrienne Mordan Sec. to the PCC on 515324 as soon as possible, or write giving reasons why you would like to  be a Governor together with a brief CV which can be circulated to the PCC c/o The Parish Office, The Vicarage, Church Lane, Romsey SO51 8EP. Deadline to receive applications is Sunday 13th July

Tuesday 8th July: 7.30pm SUMMER CONCERT – Winchester Youth Orchestra and Hampshire Flute Choir. Concert to include Stravinsky, Vivaldi and Ravel.

Wednesday 9th July: CHARITY PIANO RECITAL by CHARLES TIMBERLAKE Pianist and Composer in aid of The Wessex Children’s’ Hospice, Naomi House, in the Abbey between 10.30 am and 2.30 pm - donations welcome  .

11th July: NOYE’S FLUDDE BY BENJAMIN BRITTEN. The story of Noah’s Ark performed by local schools, choirs, professional musicians and singers providing a whole community musical experience.

19th July: ACOUSTIC TRIANGLE – MAGICAL SPACES TOUR with Sacconi Strings. Music in three dimensions.

THE ART OF PRAYER discover meditation and prayer through the arts each morning during the festival at the Abbey United Reformed Church 9.30am to 10.30 pm each day. Refreshments are available at end of each session. Entrance is free; come when you can.
