A magazine for the parish of Romsey has been in existence in various formats and under various names since the 1880s. Nowadays it is called Open Door and twelve issues are produced each year. It plays an important role in advertising and recording events in the Abbey and St Swithun's Church, and in sharing information and ideas. It also keeps people in touch when they cannot take part in parish activities, but leaves the publicity for events in the wider community to the town's newspaper, The Romsey Advertiser.
Subscriptions: If you would be interested in becoming a subscriber to Open Door you can contact our Magazine Distributor by contacting the webmaster. Subscriptions cost £9.00 for 12 copies (90p for individual copies). If you live in the town your copy will be delivered to your door free of charge or can be collected from the Abbey after 27th of each month. If you live further away arrangements can be made to send it to you.
