Getting married in Romsey Abbey is a very special experience for all concerned. Its size and architecture provides an inspiring setting and enables you to invite large numbers of guests, if you wish; it also, not least, gives the bride a memorable walk down the aisle. Our team of flower arrangers can decorate the interior to match your chosen colour scheme. The Abbey choir can lead the music at your service and sing an anthem during the signing of the registers from its extensive repertoire.
Should you prefer a simpler and more intimate service, we would be happy to conduct it in one of the side chapels.

If you believe you can satisfy any one of the above conditions, then please come to the Abbey to explore the possibilities with us. A member of the clergy is present in the Vestry each Saturday, from 5.45 to 6.15 pm, to deal with enquiries and to make the relevant bookings.
We consider the remarriage of divorcees in the Abbey on a case by case basis.
