Tony O’Malley, a British composer, keyboard player, singer and arranger who played keyboard for 10cc Band and was a founder member of the British band Kokomo is coming to Romsey Abbey on Saturday 16 January at 7.30pm. He has recently toured Belgium and performs regularly at Goodwood Festival of Speed, 606 Jazz Club in Chelsea and The Bag O’Nails in Soho. Tony has recorded 9 solo albums since 1995.

Performing with him will be:-

On guitar Richie Aikman currently studying at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford and who has played with Hamish Stuart, Snake Davis and Frankie Tontoh. Richie is a local young man who attended Mountbatten School and Wiltshire College.

On drums Ally McDougal who is also at ACM Guildford and regularly performs in France with Murray Head, has supported JP Cooper and toured with James Arthur.

On bass guitar Sonny Winslow who completed his studies at ACM last summer and has played with Hamish Stuart and Snake Davis and regularly appears with the tutors from ACM.

Richie, Ally and Sonny all combine as backing vocalists for Tony O’Malley.
