St Davids Cathedral Singers
Director: Simon Pearce
Organist: Rupert Jackson

The St Davids Cathedral Singers is an adult chamber choir which was formed in 1991. It sings Evensong at the Cathedral once a fortnight and often deputises for the Cathedral Choir during holidays as well as being in great demand for concerts and services in and away from the cathedral at Christmas and Easter.

Under the direction of Simon Pearce, Assistant Director of Music at the cathedral, the choir has released a CD of music related to St Davids Day and has toured to Hereford, Exeter, Gloucester, Bristol and Ely Cathedrals, Beverley Minster, Tewkesbury and Buckfast Abbeys and Malvern Priory. In 2014, the choir toured to Ireland and established the first musical link with its twin town of Naas near Dublin.

In 2016 the choir celebrated its 25th anniversary; to mark the occasion, the choir toured Germany, singing concerts in Limburg and Flörsheim. This concert marks the end of their tour to Wiltshire and Hampshire.
