On the third dayThis year the Abbey will follow a York Course called ‘On the Third Day’ written by Bishop Jonathan Pritchard.

We will be offering 5 sessions over 6 weeks with a day and evening class. Please sign up on the sheet in the Abbey or speak to one of the ministry team or contact the Parish Office. The first Abbey session in on Thursday 7th March at 7.15pm in the Church Rooms. This session will be repeated on Tuesday 12th March at 10.15am after the morning service in St Nicholas’ Chapel. The first session will be led by Revd Thomas Wharton and thereafter other members of the Abbey ministry team will lead the sessions.

All Romsey Abbey sessions take place as follows: 
Thursdays – March 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th and April 11th. There is no session on April 4th due to a PCC Meeting. Thursday sessions are 7.15pm for 7.30pm start in the Church Rooms.
Tuesdays – March 12th, 19th, 26th, April 2nd, April 9th. Tuesday sessions are at 10.15am after Holy Communion with coffee in St Nicholas’ Chapel.

Contributions are requested towards the cost of the accompanying course booklet £3.75.

The 5 sessions are called:
1. Have I got news for you!
2. So what? The implications of the Resurrection
3. ‘Let him easter in us’
4. Celebrating and praying Easter
5. A risen Church

Other Romsey Churches are also offering the same course and you are welcome to attend a course at any of the following:
Romsey United Reformed Church, Wednesdays at 2pm, starting March 13th, URC Church Vestry.
Romsey Methodist Church, Wednesdays at 10.30am, starting March 13th, small hall at back of the church.
Romsey Baptist Church, Fridays 10.30am, starting March 15th.

St Joseph’s RC Catholic Church will be following a different Lent course, Thursdays at 10.30am OR Abbey House (the Convent), Thursdays at 7.30pm (7.15pm for coffee) both starting March 14th.
