Christmas Eve, 4 pm at Romsey Abbey Our Christingle service will take place as part of the Nativity Crib Service at 4 pm on Christmas Eve. During the service, there will be a collection in aid of The Children’s Society. Children are welcome to come dressed in nativity costumes or to borrow one of ours.More »

A change to the Tuesday and Thursday morning services this week. Tuesday 10th December, the 9.15 am morning service is relocated from the Abbey to St Swithun’s, Crampmoor. Thursday 12th December, a combined service of Morning Prayer & Holy Communion will take place at 10.30 am at St Swithun’s, Crampmoor. There will be no 10 am service. SAT-7 is the featured December Mission and Giving organisation. After the 10 am service on Sunday 8th December there will be a short SAT-7 video show in St Nicholas’ Chapel and middle eastern refreshments. It’s an opportunity to ask questions about middle east Christians and their churches and find out more about this exciting Christian project. Congratulations and thank you to everyone involved in preparing for and running the 2019 Abbey Christmas Fair on Saturday 30th November. The work began months ahead and it was great to see the Fair so well supported and such a community event.   We are absolutely delighted to report that over £5,650 was raised for Abbey funds. This event would not be possible without such generous donations… in prizes, in stall items, in offers of help and in giving of time and talent.
