Sshh … these creative pupils at Romsey Abbey Church of England Primary School have started work on one of our Abbesses but the results won’t be revealed until the special launch.
All around the area, pupils in schools (including a college and also our Abbey Choristers) will be transforming plywood cutouts into named Abbesses of Romsey Abbey.

The full exhibition of 35 Abbesses will be available to view in the Abbey from Saturday 7th March 2020 and it promises to be an amazing sight 👀

We are most grateful to Elliotts Builders Merchant and Romsey Men’s Shed for supplying the materials and skills to produce the cutouts.

Good luck with the cutouts … Awbridge Primary, Braishfield Primary School, Broughton Primary School, Cupernham Infant School, Cupernham Junior School, Halterworth Community Primary School, Lockerley Primary School, North Baddesley Infant School, North Baddesley Junior School, Nursling Primary School, Romsey Abbey Primary School, Romsey Primary School, Wellow Primary School and Preschool, Test Valley School, The Mountbatten School, The Romsey School, Stroud School – King Edward VI Preparatory School, Embley Prep & Senior Schools, Barton Peveril Sixth Form College, Romsey Abbey Choirs
