Saturday 22nd December 2018

Experience the magic this Christmas with a showing of the timeless classic film ‘The Snowman’, accompanied by a live orchestra performing music from the film by Howard Blake and including a chorister from Romsey Abbey Choir. Performed by the Romsey Sinfonietta, conducted by Craig Lawton with Kath Roberts as Leader, this event is suitable for all the family.

UPDATE! All 3 performances of The Snowman 2018 at Romsey Abbey have SOLD OUT.

We are no longer accepting sign-ups to be kept up-to-date about this event or ticket sales.

If you have secured tickets, we look forward to welcoming you on Saturday 22nd December 2018. Here’s a few instructions to help you plan your visit.

Please note the ‘doors open’ time on your ticket. This is usually 30 minutes prior to the performance start time. Entrance to the Abbey will be via the North Door only (the side with the Post Office/Fish & Chip shop). Please be prepared to wait to be seated.

Please have your printed tickets (i.e. not on a phone or tablet) with you ready for checking. All tickets will be checked at the door. Excluding babes-in-arms 6 months or younger, all persons will be required to present a valid ticket for the appropriate performance. All persons in a group booking must enter together. There will be no ticket sales at the door.

There are no toilets inside the Abbey, these are situated in the Church Rooms, behind the Abbey.

Finally, we hope you enjoy your performance of The Snowman. The Abbey provides a magical setting and we look forward to welcoming you back on another occasion soon.
