COVID-19 – Please see our Parish Bulletin for the latest details of our services and how to keep in touch. Public worship has resumed in the Abbey and at St Swithun’s. Booking is necessary for Sunday morning services as places are restricted. Find out more here
We aim to stream the 9.30 am Eucharist service every Sunday during the COVID-19 outbreak, as well as the major festival services (Sunday services are available for up to 28 days on both the Abbey website and our YouTube Channel). From June 2020 there is a change to our mid-week service pattern. Daily services will take place on Zoom rather than be pre-recorded. Zoom links will be published in the Weekly Bulletin. Selected zoom services will be recorded and available to watch afterwards.

Our latest streamed services will appear here. Due to changes in the streaming plans offered by our previous platform which limited us to only 20 minutes streaming – we have upgraded our system, with support from the Friends of Romsey Abbey. You can now watch us live from this page or YouTube. We will be able to give you much more notice of the stream and with our new kit be able to make the service more immersive.
We try to record all the sermons at the Parish Eucharist and Sunday Evensong, these are available indefinitely from Podbean below. (not currently available)
Children & Families:
Rhiannon Wilmott, Romsey Abbey Children & Families Worker, is running Children & Family sessions on Facebook, including Singing Storytime and Lego Church. There is a Children & Families video on Facebook at 10.30am each Sunday which includes a joke competition.
Find Rhiannon here: www.facebook.com/romseyabbeychildrenandfamilies
We hope that you find it helpful to join our Parish services over the internet and that you will wish to make a donation to support the mission and ministry of Romsey Abbey. Donate online at CAF Bank here
