COVID-19 – Following the closure of churches for public and private prayer we are working on new ways to keep in touch. Please check back for updates. We will stream a daily service during Holy Week see the Parish Bulletin for more details.
We aim to stream the 9.30am Eucharist service every Sunday during the COVID-19 outbreak, as well as the major festival services (Sunday services are available for up to 28 days on both the Abbey website and our YouTube Channel). Evening Prayer will be available on the Abbey site for 7 days but available on our YouTube channel for 28 days). For our currently available live streams please scroll down.
You can follow the Evening Prayer service in the Book of Common Prayer or go to Church of England website to follow online. For more information search the date and service under more options on the C0fE site or see the Abbey Bulletin.
Our latest Live streamed services will appear here. Due to changes in the streaming plans offered by our previous platform which limited us to only 20 minutes streaming – we have upgraded our system, with support from the Friends of Romsey Abbey. You can now watch us live from this page or YouTube. We will be able to give you much more notice of the stream and with our new kit be able to make the service more immersive.
We try to record all the sermons at the Parish Eucharist and Sunday Evensong, these are available indefinitely from Podbean below.
