Mothers’ Union

The Mothers’ Union is a Christian organisation of over four million members in 81 countries.  Members are united in their shared belief in the importance of the family in God’s world.  It encourages and supports marriage and seeks to help those whose family life has met with adversity.

Membership is of the Romsey Abbey branch is not just open to mothers or even only to women.  If you are a Christian who believes in the importance of family life – whether you’re male, female, married, unmarried, a parent or not – you are welcome to join us.

Participating in many aspects of the Abbey life, we meet on the second Tuesday in each month in the Church Rooms at 2.15 pm for talks by invited speakers, discussions and a cup of tea.  On the first Thursday in each month we hold our Prayer Group in the Church Rooms at 10am, followed at 10.30 by Holy Communion in the Abbey.
