We have taken the decision to suspend public worship at Romsey Abbey and St. Swithun's until further notice. We will continue to livestream to YouTube and Facebook the following services from Romsey Abbey:
Sunday - 09.30 Parish Eucharist & 18.30 Evensong
And on Zoom - Tues & Thurs 09.15 Eucharist
The Abbey will remain OPEN daily for prayer and lighting candles between 11am and 1pm.

The Abbey remains open daily for private prayer and lighting of candles from 11:00 and 13:00.
Communal Worship is cancelled for the moment.
Our Gift Shop and Book Shop are closed.
Lunchtime recitals and concerts are postponed until further notice.
Concerts
Enjoy a wide range of concerts and recitals throughout the year organised by Romsey Abbey and ‘Music in Romsey Abbey’. Musicians involved range from local choirs and bands to international soloists and orchestras. Recitals begin at 1.00 pm and concerts 7.30 pm unless otherwise stated.
Get married in the Abbey
COVID-19 – We are delighted to be able to conduct weddings in the Abbey following government and Church of England safety guidelines. Please direct any enquiry regarding an existing or new booking to the parishoffice@romseyabbey.org.uk who will be pleased to assist you. Email is preferred at this time while the office is closed to visitors.
Christenings
COVID-19 – We are currently unable to accept any new bookings for Baptisms/Christenings or to offer Baptism Preparation Sessions. If your Baptism has been postponed please visit our Christenings page to find out what’s happening. Emergency baptisms can take place in a hospital or at home, subject to strict hygiene precautions and physical distancing as far as this is possible. For emergency baptism only please contact 07395 883652.
