The Calling Window
The Florence Nightingale Calling Window was officially dedicated by the Bishop of Southampton on Sunday 15th May 2022.
The 4-metre high stained glass window was created by artist Sophie Hacker to mark 200 years since Florence Nightingale's birth.
The Abbey is open daily from 10:00 to 16:30. Entry is free and the window can be viewed on the north side adjacent to the main high altar.
The window, remembering Florence Nighingale's calling, accords with the parish's action words "To Live, Love and Serve."
All are welcome.
