Get married in the Abbey

COVID-19 – Update 4th July 2020 – We are pleased now to be able to conduct weddings in the Abbey following government safety measures with a limit of 30 people attending. For those couples who have a wedding booked at the Abbey in the coming months, please feel free to get in touch if you have not already heard from us by emailing the parishoffice@romseyabbey.org.uk. We can then work together to arrange to reschedule your wedding as appropriate.


COVID-19 – We are unable to accept any new bookings for Baptisms/Christenings. Existing Baptisms/Christenings that are already booked cannot take place until such time as we are permitted to carry out these services. We are contacting those whose service is affected. Monthly Baptism Preparation Sessions are not taking place. If you have a query regarding your current Baptism/Christening or Baptism Preparation Session, please contact rhiannon.wilmott@romseyabbey.org.uk. Emergency baptisms can take place in a hospital or at home, subject to strict hygiene precautions and physical distancing as far as this is possible. For emergency baptism only please contact 07395 883652.
