Regular giving with the Parish Giving Scheme

Romsey Abbey is a member of the Parish Giving Scheme (PGS) which has been adopted as the preferred way of giving by the Church of England’s National Stewardship Committee. This is administered centrally for us by the PGS which is a charitable company that aims to provide the most efficient and effective way for people to financially support their local church. It greatly reduces the administrative work in the Parish and we receive the money, including any Gift Aid, soon after you give which helps our cashflow.

The PGS have a friendly and helpful telephone service that can be used to change your level of giving at any time which gives you the assurance that it is very easy to change your level of donation, up or down, if your circumstances change.

The PGS is the Abbey’s preferred method for regular donations and we encourage everyone who gives regularly to use it.

There are two ways in which a new donor can join the Scheme –
1.) by telephone and 2.) by completing a Gift Form.

1.) By using this link, you can complete a form that will register your interest in the PGS and a member of the PGS team will contact you by telephone to take your details. Please give the following information –
Parish that you would like to donate to: Romsey Abbey
Parish code: 416012161
Town in which the Parish is located: Romsey
