Youth

All young people are welcome!

Romsey Abbey is YOUR Abbey and we offer a warm and friendly welcome, where young people are deeply valued and cherished. We offer safe spaces for young people to flourish whilst exploring and deepening their Christian faith.

We meet on Friday evenings in term-time, on Sundays in our 11.15am Abbey Vine service, and we are actively involved with leading 'Faithology' groups in our local secondary schools.

Throughout the term we look to create engaging and fun events for young people where there is opportunity for connection, fellowship, and growing in God's love.

Alongside this, there are many other ways to be involved with the Abbey's worship and life of Living, Loving and Serving.

We look forward to welcoming you!

Campfire Nights

Surrounded by the warmth of the fire and God's love, we regularly meet to share faith, fun and friendship in the outdoors. Hot chocolate, toasted marshmallows and campfire songs make these evenings to remember.

Psalm 105:39

"He spread a cloud for the covering; and fire to give light in the night"

FaithFest - Churches Together

Each term, through Churches Together, we bring together young Christians from churches across Romsey, for fun, connection and faith. Romsey Faithfest included team games, bbq, paint fight, inflatables and we explored the Bible story of 'The Woman at the Well'.

Deanery Weekend Away

Surrounded by the natural beauty of the New Forest, our annual weekends away to Avon Tyrrell, provide space to reconnect with God and each other. Last year, our reflections were on,

Colossians 2:6-7

"So then, just as you have received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness"
