Some of the ways that you can support the parish

Regular Giving:

Regular giving supports our day to day running of the Abbey and St Swithun’s including our contribution to the Common Mission Fund which pays for our clergy and supports clergy in training and retired clergy in the Diocese.

For the Parish Giving Scheme (PGS) see  www.parishgiving.org.uk or contact Colin Davis, our PGS coordinator and Gift Aid Secretary, on 07785 983524 for more information.

Volunteering:

Contact details for leaders of the many volunteer and social groups are on the back of Open Door, the Parish Magazine or they can be contacted via the “Join In” page of the Romsey Abbey Website.

Give as you Live:

This scheme automatically generates donations for Romsey Abbey, without any cost to you, when you shop online at over 6000 retailers including Marks and Spencer, Waitrose, Boots and Sainsburys. Sign up at www.giveasyoulive.com.

Give to Go Green:

This match-funding scheme for funds raised to replace our spotlights is open until 5 July. See the Give to Go Green page of the website or the Abbey Facebook page or https://givealittle.co/c/romseyabbey

Gifts in Wills:

Free-will writing, whether or not you wish to leave a donation to the church, is available through the Church of England. Contact our parish Legacy Officer, Ian Clark on 01794 501819 or fundraising@romseyabbey.org.uk

Mission and Giving:

See Open Door and the Mission and Giving Noticeboard in the Abbey for regular updates on our charity of the month.
